NUMATIX is the major new technology introduced on the 2027 Polaris XPEDITION lineup.

Developed by Polaris, the NUMATIX Controlled CVT uses pneumatic control to intelligently manage the driveline. The result is reduced engine RPM during operation, helping create a quieter and more comfortable cab experience while maintaining responsive acceleration and off-road capability. Polaris says the technology can make the ride up to 40% quieter under its stated testing conditions.

NUMATIX also introduces user-selectable drive modes, allowing riders to choose between a quieter, more composed driving experience or more responsive performance depending on terrain and riding style.

Another major advantage is the integrated onboard air compressor. On-demand compressed air can be used to adjust tire pressure, clean dirt and debris from gear, and support compatible air-powered accessories.
