POLARIS P1000i POWER DIGITAL INVERTER GENERATOR

COMPACT POWER. EASY TO TAKE ANYWHERE.

The Polaris P1000i is a compact digital inverter generator designed for portable power where low weight, fuel efficiency and clean electrical output are priorities.

Its 53.5cc 4-stroke engine produces 900 watts of rated AC output and up to 1,000 watts of maximum output. Digital inverter technology provides clean, stable electricity for electronics and smaller electrical loads, making the P1000i well suited to camping, tailgating, recreational use and emergency backup applications.

At only 36.4 lb, the P1000i is easy to transport, while its dual-handle design provides convenient carrying points.

WHY BUY THE P1000i?

The P1000i is designed for situations where portability matters just as much as power. Its compact size and low weight make it considerably easier to transport than larger conventional generators, while the inverter system provides the type of clean electrical power suited to sensitive electronics.

For applications requiring additional output, two compatible P1000i generators can be connected using the separately sold parallel connection kit.

POWER & ENGINE

The P1000i uses a small-displacement, single-cylinder 4-stroke engine with air cooling. Its power output is designed around portable applications rather than high-demand equipment.

Engine: 4-Stroke OHV | Displacement: 53.5 cc | Cylinders: 1 | Cooling: Air Cooled | Fuel System: Carbureted | Starting System: Recoil | Engine Oil: Polaris 5W-30 Generator Oil

INVERTER POWER SYSTEM

The digital inverter system produces 120V AC power at 60 Hz, with 900 watts of rated output and 1,000 watts of maximum output.

A 12V DC output is also available for compatible DC applications.

Generator Type: Digital Inverter | AC Voltage: 120V | Frequency: 60 Hz | Rated AC Output: 900W | Maximum AC Output: 1,000W | DC Output: 12V / 5A | Phase: Single

The P1000i's low total harmonic distortion makes it suitable for powering electronics and other equipment that benefits from clean electrical power.

PORTABLE & QUIET OPERATION

The P1000i was designed around easy transportation. At just 36.4 lb dry, it can be carried without the bulk associated with larger generators.

Its inverter design and economy throttle also allow the engine to automatically adjust its operating speed according to electrical demand, helping reduce fuel consumption and operating noise when the generator is not heavily loaded.

Dry Weight: 36.4 lb (16.5 kg) | Length: 19.4" (49.2 cm) | Width: 10.4" (26.5 cm) | Height: 16.5" (41.9 cm) | Noise: 53 dB at 25% load / 62 dB at rated load

FUEL & RUNTIME

The P1000i uses a 0.68-gallon fuel tank. Polaris lists approximately 10.5 hours of runtime at 25% rated load and approximately 4.5 hours at rated load. Actual runtime varies with electrical demand and operating conditions.

Fuel Capacity: 0.68 gal (2.57 L) | Fuel Type: Unleaded Gasoline | Runtime at 25% Load: Approximately 10.5 hours | Runtime at Rated Load: Approximately 4.5 hours

POWER CONNECTIONS

The P1000i provides two 120V AC receptacles along with a 12V DC output. AC and DC power can be used simultaneously.

The generator is also equipped with parallel connection ports, allowing two compatible P1000i or P2000i generators to be connected using the appropriate parallel connection kit.

AC Receptacles: 2 | DC Output: 12V / 5A | Parallel Capable: Yes | AC/DC Simultaneous Use: Yes | AC Circuit Protection: Electronic Breaker

PRACTICAL FEATURES

Despite its compact size, the P1000i includes several features intended to make portable operation easier. Lock & Ride-enabled handles provide convenient carrying points, while the economy throttle allows the engine speed to respond to the electrical load.

A low-oil warning system with automatic shutdown helps protect the engine if the oil level becomes too low.

Starting: Recoil | Economy Throttle: Standard | Low Oil Protection: Warning Light & Automatic Shutdown | Fuel Valve: On/Off | Handles: Dual Lock & Ride Enabled | Parallel Ports: Standard

READY FOR PORTABLE POWER

Whether you're heading to the campground, spending a weekend outdoors, powering smaller electronics at a tailgate or keeping essential equipment running during a power interruption, the Polaris P1000i provides a lightweight and convenient source of portable electricity.

Its 900W rated output, 1,000W maximum output, compact dimensions and 36.4-lb dry weight make it particularly suited to customers who value portability and efficiency over the higher output of a larger generator.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is the difference between rated and maximum output?

The P1000i is rated to produce 900 watts continuously and can provide up to 1,000 watts of maximum output for higher-demand situations.

  • Can two P1000i generators be connected together?

Yes. The P1000i is parallel capable. A separately sold parallel connection kit is required to connect compatible generators.

  • What type of fuel does the P1000i use?

The P1000i uses unleaded gasoline. Polaris documentation specifies gasoline with the appropriate octane rating and allows oxygenated fuel within the manufacturer's limits.

  • Does the P1000i have electric start?

No. The P1000i uses a recoil starting system.

  • How much does the P1000i weigh?

The dry weight is approximately 36.4 lb (16.5 kg).

  • How long can it run on one tank?

Polaris lists approximately 10.5 hours at 25% rated load and approximately 4.5 hours at rated load. Actual runtime depends on the electrical load.

  • How loud is the P1000i?

Polaris lists approximately 53 dB at 25% rated load and 62 dB at rated load.

  • Can it power a refrigerator or other appliance?

It can power equipment provided the appliance's running and starting wattage remain within the generator's capabilities. Appliances with electric motors can require substantially more power during startup, so their starting requirements should be checked before use.

  • Does the P1000i provide 12V power?

Yes. It provides a 12V DC output rated at 5 amps.
